Mar 27: A Behavior Isn’t A Problem – It’s A Message
JFSA Brain Health & Wellness Series
In this informative session, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of dementia, including its definition and common characteristics. Attendees will learn to identify three typical behaviors exhibited by individuals living with dementia and will explore the underlying factors that may contribute to these behaviors. By shifting the focus from “negative behaviors” to understanding these actions as expressions of unmet needs or attempts to communicate, caregivers and loved ones can develop more effective, empathetic approaches to care. Join us to enhance your knowledge and skills in supporting those with dementia through compassionate and informed practices. Free to attend. One CEU available.
