The Kindness Center is a special space for social programming that serves individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness.

Located in the heart of Beachwood, The Kindness Center is a vibrant hub where compassion meets community. Our state-of-the-art 9,200 sq. ft. facility is dedicated to fostering growth, support, and inclusivity. Our programs are not only about individual support but also about bringing people together. The Kindness Center is a place where meaningful connections are made, and lives are positively transformed.

Comprehensive Support Services

The Kindness Center is home to three JFSA programs—Adult Day Support, Horvitz YouthAbility, and PLAN. Each program is designed to cater to the unique needs of adults and youth with developmental, intellectual, and cognitive disabilities.

Tailored Spaces and Engaging Activities

Our large community room is perfect for group activities, arts, and music, plus our ADA-ready bathrooms ensure accessibility for everyone. From art and music therapy to yoga, Zumba, and movie nights, our programs are packed with enriching activities that nurture both body and mind.

Learning Opportunities

The Kindness Center enables program participants and staff to work together and try out new ideas. Sharing experiences in one building creates a strong community filled with possibilities.
