Caring Connections enriches the lives of older adults through socialization, education and special events.
Every month JFSA offers a new line-up of free outings, lunch programs, entertainment, art exploration, and educational opportunities both on-line and in-person, including special programs to celebrate annual Jewish and American holidays. Free transportation is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Online Activities
With an Internet connection and an email address, a variety of activities can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home. Computer coaches are available to assist individuals who need help learning how to join an on-line activity. Our online activities include lectures, free movies and the chance to interact with other seniors with lively discussions.
In-person Activities
Group activities include special events, such as Senior Prom, bingo and casino games, local speakers and guided trips to local arts and entertainment and sports venues.
Café Europa
Cafe Europa offers programs specifically designed for Holocaust Survivors and their spouses or caregivers. Many survivors only feel genuinely comfortable among others who have shared similar experiences and instinctively understand each other. Participants get together for social, cultural, and educational activities, such as concerts, lectures, and other live presentations.
Registration is required for all programs.
